Cocoa powder generally contains about 5 times less cocoa butter than pure unsweetened chocolate, which means that cocoa powder packs a bigger punch of chocolatey flavor because you’re getting more cocoa solids and less cocoa butter.
This fruit cobbler is amazing and it can be made with limitless fruit combinations. The filling calls for a tablespoon of honey, so not completely vegan, although date or maple syrup could easily be substituted instead. If you are using raw honey and it is solid, let it sit in a small dish with the lemon juice and vanilla for a couple of minutes until it liquidizes.
